There’s nothing like a bit of hard work to whet your appetite. Domino’s has created an app that puts your pizza-making skills to the test…and allows you to place an order at the end, of course.
The Domino’s Pizza chain has created an iPad app to allow users to rise through the ranks of pizza-making school. Domino’s Pizza Hero simulates the experience of kneading dough, spreading sauce, sprinkling cheese, adding toppings and slicing away under time pressure. If you make it through the grueling ranks of Pizza School in levels one through five, the competition in the kitchen heats up and your pizza is then scored based on reviews from in-game customers.
Would-be pizza chefs can compete against each other and you can also share you scores on Facebook and Twitter.
US players can choose to ‘Make An Order’ and have their virtual pizzas delivered in real life.
In Australia, Pizza Hut and Domino’s both have apps that allow users to order a pizza through iPads and iPhones. But they don’t send you to pizza school and you don’t get to waste time, I mean, spend time, kneading dough and sprinkling cheese. Plus there’s nothing like a bit of healthy competition to get your appetite going.
