South Australian Government Implements Social Media Strategy

The South Australian Government releases a Social Media Policy that all Australian e-commerce businesses can learn from.

The South Australian Government has released a Social Media Policy for its staff and associated agencies.  The policy provides general guidance on what social media encompasses, how it can be used, managing the risks and the basic dos and don’ts, including official and personal use, of this engaging platform.

The policy makes for an interesting read.  While parts of it may be basic and obvious to some, for those e-commerce businesses looking to implement social media but are unsure of what it entails or where to start, this policy is a good resource to turn to.
