ChannelAdvisor is looking for an extraordinarily talented individual to join our world-class sales team based in a bustling inner-suburban location. We are seeking someone who craves a challenge and is not afraid to work outside a comfort zone.
ChannelAdvisor markets its software and services to a broad range of retailers looking to increase their online sales and profitability. As a member of our Sales team you will be responsible for closing deals with new and existing customers including some of the leading eCommerce brands in Australia. The Sales Executive will work closely with the regional Senior Sales Executive to ensure the region’s customer acquisition and revenue numbers are met and exceeded.
While a proven track record selling software is the basic requirement, the ideal candidate is someone who has experience selling to executives in the online divisions of retail and/or major brand manufacturers. Experience selling digital solutions is also a big plus. We are seeking a hunter, someone focused on acquiring brand new customers rather than managing existing customer relationships. The Business Development Manager must enjoy the hunt and the close in establishing a market. We are seeking someone who is looking for an overall career opportunity rather than simply a job.

Essential Job Functions:
* Prospect and build pipeline of prospects within the target market of online retailers
* Develop, negotiate, and close new business opportunities with online retailers.
* Work collaboratively with Account Management & Professional Service to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and revenue growth with existing customers
* Increase revenues by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies based on valid, customer-specific value propositions
* Maintain an accurate pipeline of all opportunities, contacts and account history and provide appropriate communication of such to ChannelAdvisor management
* Manage contracts and agreements to ensure that expectations are being established, communicated, and met
* Meet and exceed individual annual quotas for contracts/revenue
* Multi-Lingual a plus!
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven success in handling large transactions, and projects over lengthy discovery, evaluation and implementation periods in a fast-paced and competitive market
* A minimum of 3 years experience selling technology or software products or services, ideally in the online marketing space
* Experience with retail or manufacturing companies
* Online media/marketing/channel experience
