Job Title: Head of Online and Social Media

Job Description:
Our Company is currently in the process of designing a digital media strategy to complement our extensive bricks and mortar store network.
We are looking for someone to execute our webstore and social media strategies and subsequently manage and drive our online sales and digital activity.
The opportunity is a high profile role within our organisation and within the Australian online sector in general. We need someone who is retail savvy with online smarts. Someone who can bring ideas to the table, manage the execution of initiatives and liaise with senior management and third party providers.
Given the non-hierarchical nature of our organisation, it will be a hands on operational role.
The role wil involve recruitment of a digital strategy team but will ultimately involve multiple direct reports (Website content manager, social media manager and order fulfilment and customer service staff). It will also require close liaison and interaction with out third-party loyalty provider.
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and capabilities:
- 6+ years in the Marketing and Digital Marketing space
- A sound understanding of SEO/SEM/Social Media, EDM and web related marketing
- Proven track record of development and execution of webstore and social media strategies
- Operational know-how about all aspects of webstore functionality from content management to order fulfilment and customer service
- A passion for Online and up-and-coming technologies
- Excellent stakeholder relationship skills and the ability to negotiate and influence
