Australian womenswear retailer Forcast has launched its first offshore e-commerce platform, which will set it up for international growth.
After setting its sights on the international retail market, the retailer has followed through with boosting its international presence. The launch of Forcast on Singapore’s Zalora was an exciting time for the retailer, which it says opened it to the South-East Asian fashion community.
Forcast has established a local logistics centre in Singapore, making shipping to the local market easier, faster and more cost effective. The company has also increased its marketing presence throughout the region. As its customer base grows within the local market, it will set its sights on establishing a presence on the larger Zalora regional site.
Forcast is an Australian owned women’s fashion label. Since its inception in 1992, it has established a national retail presence with over 50 boutiques nationwide, as well as a strong online retail business.
