Australian shipping platform, ShippingEasy, has today announced a deal to integrate with four e-commerce platforms and partner with Direct Couriers in its entry into the multichannel fulfilment market.

Australian online fulfilment company ShippingEasy has entered the multichannel e-commerce aggregated shipping market with new integrations for popular e-commerce platforms Drupal, Joomla!, PrestaShop and Volusion. It has also partnered with Direct Couriers, a leading Australian express courier company.

Launched in 2011, ShippingEasy aims to provide SMEs with a real-time multichannel platform, so that all levels of shipping and fulfilment, nationally and internationally, can be managed through a retailer’s e-commerce platform or aggregated through ShippingEasy’s dashboard.

ShippingEasy hope to capitalise on the predicted growth of online retail in Australia, which, according to market research firm Morgan Stanley, is tipped to account for almost 30 percent of retail growth overall. This growth represents a great opportunity for Australian retailers to succeed in domestic and international online markets and this will be underpinned by their ability to access affordable delivery options.

To capitalise on this growth, ShippingEasy aims to “provide online and offline SME retailers with access to a true multichannel online shipping platform that can be set up in minutes and updated in real-time,” according to Helvadjian.
