BigCommerce is integrating Pinterest in an attempt to stay up to date and encourage stores to embrace the Pinterest revolution.
The BigCommerce platform has announced a new feature for its 25,000 stores. The latest addition is a Pinterest functionality that will be on BigCommerce stores with the other social network’s sharing buttons.
“Business owners can no longer ignore Pinterest, the fastest growing social site in the world. Consumers are spending nearly 100 minutes per month pinning fashion, food, crafts, and more,” says Chris Iona, Senior Engineering Manager, BigCommerce. “This type of activity lends itself perfectly to help online retailers convert sales.”
The new Pinterest function allows any BigCommerce powered store to have a “pin it” option alongside every product they offer.
