Asos strengthens its Australian presence by appointing ex Strategic Brand Manager for Sportsgirl, Prue Thomas, as the new Asos Marketing Manager.
In a move to have stronger business presence in Australia, Asos has appointed an Australian Marketing Manager. The new role will be filled as of June 18th by Prue Thomas. Thomas will report to Australian Country Manager, Sally-Anna Newson and will work with Golightly PR to help the growth of Asos in Australia.
Thomas spent six years in the UK as Head of Marketing for Topshop but more recently she worked with Sportsgirl as the Strategic Brand Manager for three years. It was here she incorporated initiatives in digital strategy, visual merchandising and marketing campaigns.
As Australian residents are big Asos customers, with a sale there every nine seconds, it is an important step forward for Asos to strengthen the expansion of the brand.
