Change of Guard for PayPal Australia, Frerk-Malte Feller Resigns

There will be a changing of guard at PayPal Australia, following the resignation of Managing Director Frerk-Malte Feller.

Online payment giant PayPal Australia is on the hunt for a new chief, following the resignation of Managing Director Frerk-Malte Feller.

Feller, who according to The Australian, was appointed head of PayPal Australia in 2009, after running eBay’s business in Germany which he had been with since 1999.

A spokesperson for PayPal advised that Feller ‘will be pursuing another opportunity that he is very passionate about in London’.

PayPal Australia Director of Merchant Services Elena Wise will oversee the operations in the interim, while a replacement is found.

Lead by Feller, PayPal has been publicly active in educating the wider Australian retail community about the online retail space and encouraging its growth.
