TOPSHOP Australia Launches E-Commerce Platform

Officially launching in April 2017, six years after first arriving here,  Topshop Australia’s new online platform will see the fast fashion retailer collaborate with local e-commerce suppliers and partners.

Topshop Australia will now offer expanded product collections, lower pricing, faster delivery and a product range curated for the Australian market, with new styles arriving each week, concurrent with Topshop’s flagship store in the UK in Oxford Circus.

Topshop was the first international high-street fashion retailer to launch in Australia in 2011 and are thrilled to announce the launch of their new e-commerce platform, which will see each and every Australian Topshop store act as a distribution centre for online orders.

Its new omnichannel experience will see topshop.com feature localised editorial-style content amidst a range of online only services including free returns in store, complimentary express delivery for purchases over $75 and the option to choose to click-and-collect their buys at any Topshop store across the country.

“We are very excited to synchronise the physical and digital worlds to provide our customers with a seamless omnichannel experience. Our localised business mentality has always been consumer-centric and with our new e- commerce platform, we have the opportunity to respond to customer demand in real-time,” says Deborah Papazoglu, Topshop Topman Australia’s head of e-commerce.

Its new e-commerce platform aims to enhance consumers’ in-store experience, with the brand soon rolling out offerings like Personal Shopping booking engine in the near future, allowing Australian customers to book a complimentary appointment with a personal stylist in store.

“Topshop and Topman have always been internationally renowned fashion and trend leaders; the launch of our exciting new e-commerce platform stays true to our brand’s key point of difference. We are very excited to now be able to offer Australian consumers a dynamic retail experience both in-store and online,” adds Papazoglu.

Australian consumers can shop the soft launch of the Topshop Australia’s e-commerce platform at topshop.com with more features and online shopping experiences to be unveiled in the coming months.

    Very impressive.
I’m looking forward to seeing this roll out. Good to see TopShop ahead of the game still.

Will the ecommerce stock a wider range of brands than instore?
