Australian online fashion retailer, The Iconic has survived its busiest December ever, filling one million customer orders with a 99% on-time dispatch rating.
Renowned online fashion retailer, The Iconic has surpassed even its own expectations over the holiday period by serving up its one millionth customer order in December.
Throughout the holiday period, The Iconic was promoting additional delivery options for its customers to choose from, including free three-hour delivery in Sydney’s metro area and free same-day delivery for Melbourne and Brisbane. A partnership with parcel collection network, ParcelPoint also added another alternative for busy consumers.
Adam Jacobs, Managing Director and Co-Founder of The Iconic, said that the brand’s success over Christmas is further evidence of the popular acceptance of online shopping in Australia – as well as the superior efforts of the retailer’s staff, who were able to achieve an on-time order dispatch score of 99 percent for the period.
“It is clear to us that customers have realised the huge benefits of online shopping over traditional shopping. Our guaranteed free three-hour same day delivery during this period, combined with our ParcelPoint click and collect network and 100 day free returns has really given The Iconic an advantage over other retailers,” Jacobs said.
The Iconic plans to continue consolidating its delivery infrastructure throughout 2014, improving delivery speed and options for customers in more locations.
Patrick Schmidt, the company’s recently appointed CEO, believes the combination of product range and customer service – including delivery options – will continue to allow The Iconic to set itself apart.
