Retailers, e-commerce professionals and everyone in between gathered for the annual Retail Global Gold Coast conference.

As one of the world’s leading online retail conferences, the Retail Global Gold Coast conference was filled with interesting insights, captivating keynote speakers and a lot of fun.

The event took place over three days on the sunny Gold Coast, with e-commerce, marketplace and technology professionals coming from around the globe. In attendance were some major names in the industry, such as Amazon, Catch, BigRedGroup and many others. Conference-goers were treated to deep understandings, tips and tricks to maximise sales, capture customer loyalty and utilise the latest technology.

Everyone got jazzed up at the 2019 ‘Feel Good Industry Event of the Year’. The Retail Global Annual Charity Gala is one of the highlights of the entire conference, with first-rate entertainment, live and silent auctions and, of course, dancing. The dancefloor went crazy for Andrew McClelland, one of Australia’s most energetic and celebrated DJs, who has recently returned from Cher’s 16 date stadium tour, as her only support act. The night continued into the early hours of the morning and was the personification of ‘business in the front, party in the back’.

The Gala event raised $98,589, plus $100,000 worth of PATCH Strips and 30,000 pairs of shoes from Shoes and Sox for RetailROI, a charity that helps vulnerable children worldwide. Retail Global has raised more than $800,000 for charity, which has helped build a school in Haiti. “The overwhelming generosity of the Retail Global community is humbling,” said the Retail Global founder, Phil Leahy.
