kikki.K Kickstarts a New Online Store

Global design brand kikki.K has launched a new online store, which it describes as “a modern, comprehensive and flexible platform embodying the kikki.K brand and renowned guest experience.”

Like Australian swimwear brand Seafolly earlier this year, kikki.K developed the new e-commerce platform in partnership with Tryzens. The systems integrator and service provider worked out the business requirements and technology options in consultation with kikki.K, after meeting with them in 2017.

“Following an assessment of their requirements and reviewing the commercial and operational fit of different technologies with their leadership team, it was evident that there is a really great business case and opportunity for kikki.K to build on its considerable successes to date by facilitating smoother and swifter expansion,” says Tryzens Group CEO, Andy Burton.

“Tryzens have an excellent reputation and track record of success in digital commerce and assisting businesses with their online stores, customer engagement and international expansion,” says Iain Nairn, CEO at kikki.K. “They were a natural choice to help us select the most appropriate technology and then to implement our vision on a timely basis.”

This move is the latest in the Swedish brand’s long-term global expansion strategy, which includes boosting its online operations. Nairn cites “continued growth” an important factor in the development of the website, and capacity to build the brand’s digital capabilities was clearly key to the partnership.

“The launch of the new site will allow the business to scale and handle surges in traffic and demand around peak season activity as well as to support the seamless launch of new capabilities and regional storefronts as and when required,” says Burton.

The updated online store has only just launched, so it is still too early to gauge its impact on sales and company growth. Both Tryzens and kikki.K appear optimistic, however. Burton calls the move “a fantastic, collaborative partnership between our teams”, while Nairn says that “The level of support, proficiency and engagement that Tryzens has provided us has been first class and we are excited for the future of our partnership.”
