Charlotte Valente is the new GM for BRG, with aims to integrate lean solutions to the brand for Australia and abroad.
Big Red Group (BRG), the parent company of RedBalloon, Adrenaline, Marketics (Albert AI) and Redii, have announced the new GM for the B2B division, Charlotte Valente.
Valente previously worked as the GM of Marketing for APN Outdoor and will head up Marketics, the exclusive distributor of Albert AI marketing technology for Australia and NZ. Valente will also be responsible for the group’s workplace experiences product, Redii.
BRG was formed in 2017 by Naomi Simson and David Anderson and has since become an AUD$100 million enterprise. As part of the growth roadmap for BRG, Valente’s hire is set to play a substantial role. Corporate sales represent a huge growth opportunity in the experience economy, both in Australia and globally.
Valente’s extensive career in media is welcomed by BRG with a ‘strong data pedigree’. “I love getting under the skin of businesses and aligning solutions to their challenges, and that is exactly what this role is about. Ultimately what we’re selling at the Big Red Group is engagement – and engagement is the key to all growth,” explained Valente.
BRG’s Co-Founder, Naomi Simson, said Valente’s appointment was a ‘nod to the enormous opportunity ahead’ for both AI marketing and BRG’s most ‘valued asset’, which is people. “I’m pleased to have a GM on board of the calibre of Charlotte to help deliver more meaningful programs to Australian businesses,” said Ms Simson.
“Similarly, I have been speaking recently to a number of audiences and sharing the success many of our clients are seeing from engaging the Albert technology. Such as Cellarmasters who have seen their search cost per acquisition reduce by 54 per cent; their return on ad spend increase 149 per cent and generic ad impression share increase by 34 per cent versus last year,” explained Ms Simson.
