The ICONIC and Cotton On Group are reportedly joining forces, with The ICONIC becoming the fashion juggernaut’s first third-party wholesale partner.
“Cotton On is one of the greatest fashion success stories in Australia and a brand that Aussies love, which is why we’re honoured to be the first wholesaler to partner with them locally,” Patrick Schmidt, CEO at The ICONIC said in a statement Thursday morning.
At launch, consumers can expect to see products from its main apparel, footwear, accessory, gifting and stationery spearheads, with products from Cotton On, Cotton On Body, Rubi and Typo expected to be made available via The ICONIC’s online shopping hub.
The ICONIC says this new partnership forms part of its long-term plan to connect customers with the “best local and international brands across Australia and New Zealand”.
“For us, working with Cotton On is the result of our unwavering mission to deliver our customers the brands they ask for and be a continuous source of inspiration for the latest fashion trends and styles. This is the start of an amazing partnership as two great Aussie brands come together and we’re thrilled to have Cotton On as part of THE ICONIC family,” Schmidt said.
Peter Johnson, the CEO at Cotton On Group also says he’s excited about the partnership.
“As a customer-driven business, Cotton On Group is excited to join THE ICONIC making it easier for customers to shop Cotton On, Cotton On Body, Rubi and Typo. We want to be where our customers are shopping and THE ICONIC is one of those destinations,” he said.
Any Cotton On branded purchases made via The ICONIC will reportedly be shipped directly from the online giant’s local fulfilment centres, giving shoppers access to Cotton On Group’s products within as little as three-hours when shopping in Sydney metro areas.
Cotton On Group’s products are available through The ICONIC now, with more items expected to appear in the coming months.
