Meet the Finalists of the StarTrack Online Retail Industry Awards 2014

The nominations have been collated and the shortlisting process is complete; Australia’s StarTrack Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAS) finalists have been announced for 2014.

One of the most highly anticipated events in the online retailer’s calendar, the Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAS) are on their way, and judging by the shortlisted finalists, this year’s gala presentation evening is shaping up to be bigger than ever before.

Now in its fifth year, the ORIAS have been rebranded under a new major sponsorship agreement, becoming the StarTrack ORIAS. The partnership has been welcomed by organisers and nominees alike, with StarTrack fast becoming a primary feature in the Australian e-commerce fulfilment landscape.

“We are delighted to welcome Australia’s most trusted freight and logistics experts to host the ORIAS with us. Together, we are committed to supporting the digital community and recognising the excellence of online retail in this country,” said Alice Kuepper, Exhibition Director.

The finalists were announced today (Wednesday, June 18th) at The Ivy Sunroom, accompanied by networking drinks and a light lunch. While the prestigious announcements are quite the event in their own right, they serve as more of a teaser when compared with the excitement of the gala presentation themselves. Categories for nominees include Best New Online Retailer; Best Social Commerce Initiative; Most Innovative Online Retailer; Best Online Retail Marketing Initiative; Best Customer Experience; Best Aggregation Channel; Best Site Optimisation and Design; Best Mile Commerce Site Application; Industry Recognition Awards and Online Retailer of the Year.

Timed to coincide with the annual Online Retailer Conference and eCommerce Expo – which will be held at the Sydney Royal Hall of Industries and Hordern Pavilion from July 22nd to the 23rd this year – the gala evening has quickly become the pinnacle of events to attend for any e-commerce or online retail professional.
