Last year we asked our audience of online and multichannel retailers a series of questions about their business, as part of an ongoing effort to gauge the health of the online retail industry in our corner of the Anglosphere. This year we’ve again added more questions, covering every facet of the modern retail business, including business size, category, solutions and technology, website design and optimisation, warehousing, inventory and fulfilment.
Collating the responses from over 500 Australian and New Zealand retailers, gathered between October and December 2014, this guide provides insight into our local industry, with key results comparing the performance of SMBs and enterprises over the past twelve months to our findings from the last Playbook’s own benchmarking study.
This study presents data from a large portion of our local retail community, and serves as an ongoing record of the advancements made in Australian and New Zealand e-commerce, for the benefit of industry professionals.
