This report on travellers features more than 10 charts telling you everything you need to know about how Australian’s view domestic and international travel.
Drawn from over 9,000 online shopper interviews conducted in the last six months, our findings include that:
- 69% of people are in the process of planning a domestic holiday
- 64% of people are planning an international holiday
- A far greater proportion of people book their flights directly from an airline (54%) versus people who book their accommodation directly from the host (16%)
- By country, the most popular travel destination for Australians is the USA, followed by New Zealand and Japan.
