Some of Australia’s top online retailers have developed a new initiative that identifies and celebrates a new wave of online icons, aka “influencers”, given their impact on the wonderful world of e-Commerce, and in our everyday lives today.
A brand new iconic awards program will be launching in Australia this week to hail the mighty influencer. Australia’s Top 50 Influencer Awards will not only recognise, but also celebrate the modern type of small business and online influencers in Australia today.
No one segment in today’s health and wellness, fashion, beauty, food and lifestyle industries have amassed more power and legitimacy this year than the “influencers.” This group of social media megastars have challenged the thinking of brands, retailers and publications, to reconsider who it is in today’s world that truly moves the product and the needle, when it comes to effective marketing and influential power.

“Major brands have created large campaigns based around influencer marketing. Global advertising and public relations agencies are making sure their clients are strongly considering influencer components for major campaigns. It’s time we acknowledged the best influencers in a more structured way.”
