Online Retailer to Celebrate 10 Years of Retail Innovation

Last year, Online Retailer saw 2,500 people attend its e-commerce and retail show, with this year’s event also expected to draw in a crowd, as forward-thinking retailers and disruptors descend on Sydney to celebrate a decade of Online Retailer.

“We’re so excited to be heading into our tenth year of this highly respected event, and this year promises to deliver new, innovative and exciting initiatives for retailers,” said Alice Kuepper, the event director at Online Retailer.

The free Online Retailer Exhibition will include keynote speakers, including the likes of Netflix’s co-founding executive, Mitch Lowe and The ICONIC’s chief operating officer, Anna Lee, as well as speakers from Cotton On and Brendan Sweeney, to name a few.

Running alongside the free exhibition will be the ticketed conference, which event organisers claim will host more than 60 speakers from both local and international brands, including Cue Clothing, Showpo, and IKEA.

Attendees will reportedly learn about artificial intelligence (AI), best practices for selling through online marketplaces, personalisation, and cross-channel logistics.

With diversity being a big topic within the retail industry at the moment, organisers have also worked to ensure the event is inclusive for all, with 50 percent of the keynote speakers being women who hold senior positions within their respective companies.

“We’re delighted to have such high-profile speakers on board. The breadth and importance of these key players in the e-commerce space is telling of the level of information delegates will be exposed to over the two days,” Kuepper said.

Outside of keynote speeches, attendees will be able to join free Tech Talks, watch live podcasts from the National Online Retail Association (NORA) and Mouth Media, and attend live website review sessions.

Any retailers wishing to attend the expo are asked to register in advance, while tickets for paid sessions and conference features are available for purchase, with prices ranging between $319 and $1,479.
