The first ShopTalk event for the year is scheduled for this Wednesday evening in Sydney, and will feature experts from Qantas and Webster Holdings
Regular e-commerce industry group, ShopTalk has announced the featured speakers that will appear at its first meet-up for the year.
ShopTalk, which has been run on a regular basis since 2012, features industry speakers as well as plenty of opportunity to socialise with other retailers and online merchants. Beginning in Sydney, the event has since become a fixture in Melbourne and Auckland, with another evening to open in Brisbane in April.
The first ShopTalk event for the year is scheduled to begin at 6.15pm (AEDT), this Wednesday, February 5, in Sydney. The topic of discussion for the evening is, ‘Loyalty and CRM – Attracting, Engaging and Retaining Members in the Omnichannel World’.
Hosted by Amblique and sponsored by iMedia Online Retail Summit, featured speakers include Kylie Little, Head of Retail at Qantas Frequent Flyer, and Harmony Osborne, CRM Manager at Webster Holdings (Marcs, David Lawrence and Jigsaw).
“The ongoing challenge for retailers is to give customers a seamless experience across both the online and offline worlds. Create relevant offers, personalised services, and enticing rewards that drive engagement no matter when, where or how they choose to interact. Harmony and Kylie understand this only too well and we look forward to their insights on Wednesday,” says Lisa Powell, Head of Retail Practice for Amblique.
Events are scheduled to occur every month in Australia and every quarter in New Zealand.
As always, ShopTalk is free to attend, however you will need to register on the group’s meet-up page for full details and to RSVP.
